How To Lose Weight After 50 Years of Age

Different types of diets can work, but there is one type of diet that will never work when you are over 50, and that is eating high amounts of carbohydrates mixed with high amounts of fats. Unfortunately, that’s the typical American diet.

In the video below, Mike tells a story about one of his recent personal training clients in her 50s who could no longer lose weight following a diet she has been doing for years. After analyzing her diet, he realized that she was not eating enough protein.

He gave her two options in the future. A low fat, high carb diet with an adequate amount of protein. Or his preferred diet, a low carb, high-fat diet with sufficient protein. Even though the diets are the complete opposite, they both can work for you.
